THE AIM OF THE COURSE: To provide students with knowledge of the main stages of European integration with an emphasis on issues of modern European identity, to outline the strategic priorities for the development of the EU, as well as to indicate the current topics of social and economic policy of the EU.
THE TASKS OF THE COURSE
- to provide knowledge of the main trends and developments in Europe;
- look at and analyze the main aspects of European development and identity in the 20th and 21st centuries;
- to develop an understanding of current issues in politics and economics in the European Union;
- to develop the ability to use the acquired knowledge in analyzing modern social problems and risks.
